It’s only the first full week of January, and we’re ready for spring and sunshine. We’re also so over dry skin and chapped lips so here are a few ideas to get you moving forward to brighter days.
The Color of Pink – Since tangerine tango kind of took over last year, pink got pushed to the side. Thankfully it’s back this spring on lips, eyes lids and even a halo of pink blush under the eyes.
BB Cream – We mentioned this one before but it’s really caught on, from Tarte to Urban Decay just about every brand now has a BB Cream. Find out which one you like the best!
No mascara, go al-natural – While you should keep your focus on the eyes, mascara isn’t apart of the equation. Makeup artist are trying a new natural fresh look for spring.
Don’t forget the color of the year! Emerald. – Dark green can be really sexy, especially when playing up your eyes, or a sparkly version on your nails.
Matte lips – Missoni, Giles, Prada, and a bunch of other runway shows had the most glorious bright matte lips. Think bright and beautiful spring hues with a velvety texture.
Crimping – Yep. Dust off your crimping irons, crimping your hair is totally back for spring.
Big brows – Big bold eyebrows are the way to go with some looks. Chose not just to enhance brows, but to exaggerate and manipulate shapes to create super-bold, defined arches.
