Summer Travel Check List

by admin on July 10, 2012

Here is your Summer Travel Challenge – Fit all your makeup, lotions, and toiletries into one large ziploc bag. If you can fit all this into that bag, you’re a packing genius! Summer is the time for vacations and lots of traveling, and Into the Gloss has narrowed down the summer essentials needed for almost every occasion. They’re covered everything from Skin and Makeup to Hair and Body. So get packing!

Here are a few of our favorites:

Bioderma Créaline, mini size: makeup remover, toner, and general refresher. Pack a handful of cotton pads in a plastic sandwich bag in case the hotel bathroom doesn’t have them.

Sunday Riley Effortless Breathable Tinted Primer: Riley’s MO is “green science”—an admirable pursuit in the beauty industry—and her makeup contains skin-care ingredients. This mousse-like primer for months has the consistency of a silky tinted moisturizer and makes skin glow-y without any shimmer or sparkle.

Benefit Benetint or Tom Ford’s Frantic Pink: The most important thing about blush, is application technique. A makeup artist recently said to stay away from the apples of your cheeks (too close to the ruddy nose area) and diffuse it across the cheekbones instead. It makes a huge difference.

The three shower necessities you should not leave home without are razor, shaving cream, and deodorant, just to be safe. Oh, and a toothbrush.
