Over the weekend I got invited to one of my first cookouts of the summer. BBQ chops were on the menu, along with seasoned potatoes, and some grilled zucchini. Little did I know for desert would be grilled peaches. I was a little skeptical at first but let me tell you these things were delicious. Now I want to grill all my fruit!
Fruit is perfect for the grill because it is so easy to prepare. Since they’re basically made up of water and sugar, by grilling it, you can concentrate the flavors by reducing the water and caramelizing the natural sugars. The process is very simple and what you will get is a quick and easy addition to any meal whether it is as an appetizer, side dish, or dessert. Yum!
