Keeping Tabs Of Your Inspiration

by admin on February 18, 2011

When browsing the internet or going through magazines, sometimes I find stuff I absolutely love. I always tell myself I will remember where I saw it and go back later or bookmark it online. The same goes with music, movies, and quotes. I always trick myself into thinking – yeah I’ll remember that. I never do, and then I end up with countless magazines stored and hundreds of bookmarks I just delete because I get so overwhelmed and can’t find anything. Lately, I’ve discoverd an amazing way to help me keep track of things I find stunning and beautiful and I’ll never forget where it’s at – blogs. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this earlier. Its an ingenuous way to keep things organized without having to remember where you put it all. Think of it as an online inspirational notebook for – well anything you like.

Here are some of my favorite places that make it very easy to post and keep track of what you love:

Pin·terest (pĭn’trĭst): n. a social catalog to collect and share things you love.

Blogger - Your basic blogging site. It’s a has more of a traditional style of blogging – like an online journal, it will consist more of writing than posting just photos and inspiration, but it’s a good one non the less. You’ll also need to have and/or create a Google account to use this one.

LOOKBOOK.nu – The largest source of fashion inspiration from people all over the world. You can post your own inspiration and browse others as well.
